Treated Timber

Over 50 years, we’ve become experts in timber treatment, pioneering new, environmentally respectful treatments to enhance our wood and protect it against time, weather, and pests.

From our state-of-the-art treatment facilities, we offer high pressure treated timber products which include fencing, decking and construction timber, which are offered coloured green or brown to customer specification.
We also offer low pressure treatment solutions for the growing timber frame sector which includes our unique GP Wood SR82 graded battens coloured red.

Co-Products

We are proud to be able to say that zero waste is generated from our raw material. As well as sawn timber substantial quantities of woodchips, bark and sawdust are produced and sold into several markets. Utilising and marketing of these Co-Products is an integral part of our sawmilling business.

Woodchips are sold in Ireland for the manufacture of Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) and exported to countries as far away as Holland, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Norway for the production of paper.

Kiln dried bailed wood shavings for use in the equine and farming sectors are available throughout the year.

Sawdust and bark are consumed on site in the company’s Combined Heat and Power plant (CHP), where they are consumed to produce renewable heat for our kilns and power for our sawmill.
